Christmas layouts

The boys decorated sugar cookies for Santa.
Jacob ate almost all of these! But he did leave 3 for Santa.

Used some Love Elsie PP, American Crafts thickers and other misc embellies.

Photos of the boys and Sara (neice) decorating our Gingerbread house. They had a blast decorating with all the candies ( and of course eating a bunch too)

Used a Page Map by Becky Fleck, Scenic Route PP, Tim Holtz Grungeboard (heart), some felt Ric Rak from Walmart and AC felt thickers.

This layout was done using the Dec Kit from Scrappy Girl Designs and sketch from

I MUST

Start writing down things Lukas says... he has the biggest personality.. in such
a small little body.

Last night we sat down to eat dinner at the table and Lukas wanted some Jelly
on his toast... so I spread some grape jelly on his toast...and he decides to lick it
off rather than eat the toast.. which is really no surprise.. this kid LOVES
sugar! Anyway, he takes a few licks and looks at me and says "yum, tasty Jelly Mama"
It just made me crack up... I'm always trying to get the boys to taste new things and
I use the work tasty all the time... and it was funny to hear him us it.

Beginning to look a "little" like Christmas

This week we started decorating our home for Christmas.
Here are a few shots of what we've done so far.

Here's a shot of a part of my Santa Collection.

This is one of my favorite Santas.

Here's a quick shot of a new tradition we've started this year. These elves belonged to my mom until I requested them last year. I remember having them growing up. Well, a friend (Cami B.) did a layout last year about this tradition she learned of through a website
that sells elves that look just like this, plus a book
that tells a real cute story.
I've not read the story yet but it has something to do with the elves being magical and they will go see Santa every night until Christmas. They will tell Santa about the Children of the home they are visiting. These elves will leave every night and try to hide somewhere new each day.
I must say, Jacob LOVES this! It's the first thing he does when he comes downstairs in the AM.
He searches around until he finds the elves and then he will even tell them "Good Morning!"
We are using these elves like nobodies business! If Jacob gets out of line ... or starts whinning... we just say.. "The elves are watching!" OR "Do I need to go speak to the elves about this behavior?" It is SOOOOOO working .. for now anyway.

And this last shot.. didn't turn out so well.
BUT I think it looks pretty good in real life.
I bought this wreath last week at Target. IT has
little tiny green leaves and red berries all over..
and it's kinda rustic.... I also bought the Stockings
and hangers... I LOVE the stars!

THE boy is playing soccer!

Well, he is running up and down the field but he has NO idea
how to play soccer. YET!!! He'll learn!
Couple pictures, enjoy!

This is the work up before the game.
They were standing in line to kick the
soccer ball in the goal and Jacob was jumping
up and down with excitement! IT was
so cute. (No one else was that excited. LOL!)

Quick shot during the game.

Here's their coach telling them which way
to kick the ball. The one little boy with the blonde hair was the one kid who actually knew how to play soccer. He also, would NOT give up!
Jacob is on the far right... following the herd.

QUick shot after the game.

ANother quick shot after the game.
(BTW, he was drinking Gatorade
that's why his mouth looks blue)

Hi,

It's been a while since I've posted anything.
We'll I just got my first kit from Scrappy Girl Designs and it ROCKS!

I've started with the Dream Street items and this is what I've come up with so far.

Jacob turned 5 on Sunday and these photos were taken that day.

This is a quick layout of my MOM with a BeeHive Hair do!

AND this is Meredith... She is the sister to one of Jacob's friends. They were our neighbors when we lived in St Petersburg.
