Our new Fur Baby

This is Deuce. He is about 12 weeks old. We
adopted him from a local rescue called http://creekbendsanctuary.com/.
If you are local to Mobile and are looking for a sweet
kitty, I would check with Jennifer and John at
Creek Bend Sanctuary.

Thanksgiving Lunch with Lukas

The first photo is Lukas with his Kindergarten
teacher Mrs. A. Foster. Next is Lukas acting silly!

Field trip with Jacob

I went with Jacob to Seward farms in the fall. We had a blast. Notice how tall Jacob is in the group photo. He's on the far right.

playing catch up... couple photos from Fall Baseball

This first photo is Lukas playing the pitcher position. This was his first time playing tee-ball. His coach said he was one of the most improved players on the team. He loved playing.

Next is Jacob... This is Jacob's 3 season playing coach pitch league. This season he played 1st base and he was an awesome player. I was so amazed at how much Jacob improved this season.
I wasn't able to get a good photo because all of his games were played at night.

The second photo was taken at Jacob's end of the season party... This is the trophy he received and it holds his game ball.

First True Love

I truly fell in love when I had Jacob. I had no idea this kind of love existed until he was born. I can say my love for him is every sense of the word "TRUE"

30 Day Blog challenge - Day 2

Day 2: Meaning Behind Your Blog Name

The name is Glued2paper. I use this blog to share some of my
paper crafts so I wanted to come up with something catchy
about paper. I love paper and I love glue... so Glued2paper was
born.

Corny, huh?
Oh well, I like it!

Bzz --Elmer's Craftbond and X-ACTO - Bzzz

Lookie Lookie what I got in the mail!

I'm a Bzz agent for Bzzagent.com and I was lucky enough to get into the Elmer's and X-ACTO
BzzCampaign. If you have NO idea what I'm talking about.. go to http://www.bzzagent.com/
and join. You will not regret it!

Elmer's CraftBond and X-ACTO Designer series products are wonderful to
use if you do any type of paper crafting. Elmer's has top quality glue sticks,
glue pens, gel pens, sticky Spots (my FAV) , tape dispensers, runners and much
more. Their prices range from about $2-$9. All adhesives are acid-free
and archival safe.
The X-ACTO designer series includes top quality scissors, trimmers, rulers, punches
knives and cutting mats. Xacto prices range from $2-$20.

I received the Elmer's All purpose Glue stick, a permanent tape runner, a clear glue
pen, and stick spots. AND.. a pair of zig-zag edge scissors, scalloped scissors and
a corner rounder punch.

These products are right up my ally! I'm totally in love with playing with paper
and glue (hence the blog name Glued2paper, haha!)
I've already tested out the corner rounder, sticky spots, and tape runner.
These products work wonderfully. Check out what I've made so far.

I used the tape runner on both of these layouts
and the sticky spots on the buttons and flowers.
They are there to STAY! I love it when I can find a
good adhesive to work!

I also tried out the corner rounder on this layout.. little hard to see but it did the job
perfectly.
