2 challgenges.

First the Detour challenge: Stitch it or Rich it

-- in STITCH IT - you will create a layout or project using HAND STITCHING on it...not your sewing machine! ...its up to you how to creatively break out your needle and thread and show us what you can do with it...in the description of your upload please tell us what you did to utilize this technique

--in RICH IT - you will create a layout or project that somehow incorporates money on it - how you display currency on your layout/project is totally up to you - in your description of your upload please tell us all about your rich creativity!

For the Roadblock Challenge:

make an altered journal book using the following ingredients

- the colors blue, brown and cream

- transparancy

- lace

- a slide mount

- stamping

Here are the things I made during the contest at Sassacraft.
I couldn't share until the contest was over. It's over and I didn't win.
Oh well... I think I'll just go out and buy myself a prize. LOL!

This weekend we drove up to look at our home. We were surprised to find lots finished. The tile has been laid and cabinets installed. We were told the counter tops will be put in this week. YIPEE! Shouldn't be too much longer now!

Some new Stuff I worked on this week

Here's a layout I did this week for the Timeless Inspiration race... I did the conest last year and had a blast.We had to either Press it -- using an iron or Dress it -- using material from old clothing. I Dressed it -- using some old PJ pants.

This is a card -- had to use the colors Pink, Black and white, paint, staples, 3 different ribbons and...
a sticker.

New LO -- guess who?

Hi This is a new layout I worked on this AM. I made this for the Survivor contest
I'm in on Scrappin_Fun and for the Early Bird challenge on Scrapyard Online.

December -- Phase 3

Jacob is the handsome one in the back with the little red tie on. SO stinkin' cute.
His school had a little Christmas program and it was just adorable. Then we all went back to his class room and had cookies and juice. IT was a wonderful night!





Since we knew we would not be home for Christmas we called Santa and asked him
to come by a week earlier. He didn't mind one bit. Both boys got lots of nice gifts from Santa.
